My top advice to all pregnant is never forget to take your prenatal vitamins everyday! I remember skipping my calcium capsule on my first pregnancy. It was not explained what is it for, why do I need it and I never bother to know. Anyway, after almost 6 years my back x-ray now shows that I have chronic degeneration on my spine. I think it is like early osteoporosis. Now, I regret why I skipped taking my calcium when I was pregnant. :( By the way, the baby inside the tummy takes most of our calcium deposit and that’s the reason why we need to get more calcium supplements while pregnant. So always listen to your OB.
