Third quarter of the year is almost done and we’re gearing towards the end of 2010, then it will be 2011! Too many things I have to be thankful for this year.. but I’m still waiting for one thing to happen.

Anyway, that give me another reason to call her and talk other things. lol I feel so chatty lately and it only mean one thing.. I’m happy. hahaha Hope that her decision to move in NC will bring more good things in her life.

One of my dream careers before is to be an insurance specialist. The insurancespecialists.com website is my dream website to own. I want to be specialist in selling all types of insurance. I value the importance of insurance especially covering cost of injuries and damages. But selling life insurance is what I deemed very important that everyone should have. I personally experience financial hardship when my father dies. So I know that everyone, especially head of the family, or someone that have dependents to secure their life by life insurance.

I’m very thankful that I got a cheap life insurance policy when I was 25 years old Of course, that was the time when my health is far better than what I have now. I know that I will die too but I don’t want it to happen very soon. I want my family to be financially secure if something happened to me. I experienced hard life when my dad passed away at an early age leaving 5 very young kids, with the age range from 3-12.

I feel sad every time I remember it. ;( I’m thankful that my mom didn’t give up in trying to give us life. So, thankful that she relied to God for support, He truly didn’t fail her.

Who would not be thankful with the convenience of an instant quote of insurance online? I am! Our life, dental, home, and auto were online quote that after we compared to agent, we decided which one to get. Even for our everyday shopping, we use online help to compare prices. The convenience of these things is unthinkable. Actually I’m doing another project/rate comparison. And that is for our current auto insurance. I want to know if there is cheaper than what we have now.

Our home insurance policy is soon to lapse, I want to look if we need to increase our policy coverage and find a lower home insurance quote too. However, switching to lower premium could be hard because our policy is also attached to our auto insurance. Unless, we ask for quotation for both then it could be worth it to move. Just too many paperwork to look at specially the amount you need to insure for the home policy. My priority now is just to update the policy coverage make sure we are covered.

I have tons of photo that I haven’t share on this website and I will try to keep up in sharing. This is actually on my to-do list together with my task to finalize my search of wholesale term life insurance.  My husband and I are thinking to upgrade and consolidate our insurance coverage to only one company.  And I’m almost done on my task.

My sister called me if buying travel insurance is a good added factor to consier when budgeting for a vacation. I personally like to purchase insurance in almost everything. So I guess buying one to cover some unforeseen occurrence when traveling is a good investment to protect from losses. But of course you also have to be wise in picking one to add in your traveling expenses.

Like what I said on my previous post that I’m thinking to change my mom’s life insurance. As I browse different plans and option I found additional rider that I want to consider. I want to add the option of returning the insurance premium once she reaches the plan years or when the plan gets mature.

You can get a free quote depending on your plan needs; it can vary from 15, 20 or 30 years plan. What the plan does is they will return all the premium you paid when the plan matures. So you get all the protection for those years then they will give you back the entire premium you paid. After I found this option, now I’m considering changing mine too to have a Return of Premium option.

I also like the glossary where I can look up insurance terms so I can understand better the clause and agreement on the plan. They also have calculator to compute how much insurance coverage you need to purchase to cover your family. So what do you think?

Last year we purchased a life insurance for my mom. Because she has diabetes and high blood pressure, I thought that she will have a hard time getting approval. I was really, really wrong. I agreed for the high premium because I thought that getting a life insurance is next to impossible with her pre-existing health condition. So now I’m looking for cheaper term life insurance quote to replace her plan. Hope I can get a lower premium compared to her existing insurance.
